Is the Dji phantom 4 pro better than the dji mavic?
In some ways it is and in some ways it is not.
How it is better:
The phantom 4 pro has a better camera. It has more stabilized footage and a better camera. The drones design is incredibly glossy with a nice finish. The controller also is on premuim quality. In fact you don't wven need a phone because the controller has a built in screen and the software is pre-installed in the remote for the buyer. All you need to do is turn on the drone and controller calibrate the gps and your done and ready to fly. The drone also has obstacle avoidance on the bottom, sides, front, and bac. However it does not fit in your pocket like the mavic it is big and bulky.
Why the Mavic Pro is better:
The mavic pro Mavic Pro does not have. A good camera and it is still 4K. It does have a stabilized gimbal and optical image stabilization but the image does not have a wife color gammon or wide view. The frame is very narrow. The design is plastic but it is not cheap or toylike. Inside all the plastic and brand writing there are 24 computing cores two front facing obstacle avoidance sensors and accurate goals for return to home. The drone does not have obstacle avoidance on the other sides like the mavic pro.
